Regular mission opportunities
  • DeForest Area Needs Network.
This cooperative area church service provides financial assistance to people in the DeForest area school district. We receive offerings in worship during the year. We also will host fundraisers with DANN as a designated recipient.

  • DeForest Area Food shelf.
We support the area churches in providing this assistance to families in need. We receive food collections during the year and our youth will undergo a “scavenger hunt” to collect items to help stock the shelves. The Food shelf is located at the Windsor UCC.

  • Homeless Shelter. (located at Grace Episcopal Church, Madison)
Every other month (February, April, June, August, October, December) we work with Glenwood Moravian Church to provide a breakfast at the downtown Madison shelter on the second Wednesday of the month. We also make lunches to support the guests who do have work during the day.

  • Norski Nibbles.
A DeForest school area summer lunch for school age children/youth. Lunches are at Christ Lutheran Church and supported by area churches and businesses.
  • As a part of the Moravian Denomination we participate with the Board of World missions with evangelism, outreach, relief ministries in Africa, South America, Central America, Cuba in addition to the United States.
